Baphomet Lodge was established in 2003, having key sites around the United Kingdom. The United Kingdom founder, Jonathan Ludd is best known for his work within the community facilitating Handfastings, House Blessings, Naming Ceremonies, and Last Rites. Jonathan attends four of the key sites on a regular basis. He made the decision to publish the knowledge of Witchcraft so that all may benefit, 'The Pagan Book of Wisdom and Knowledge' is now available.

The purpose of Baphomet Lodge is to welcome all to it's doors and guide each and every individual towards the light. A seeker will be given every opportunity to discover scripture over 6,000 years old, and learn how to master the Art of witchcraft.  

Each Degree presented to the individual can take anything from 3 months to 3 years to achieve, and once the Elders of the Lodge are satisfied with the Recipient's progress, a planned path will be encouraged. There are 18 Key deities within Baphomet Lodge, and a further 4 High-Chord. We celebrate each Pagan cycle and practice on inner circle dates. Our sacred day is Saturday in modern times, where we meet to install the degrees and perform magical practices in safe and comfortable environments.

We have no belief system in good or bad, but as each practitioner performs ritual, he or she will decide which level of energy and power to draw upon to ensure that the magic works. From Spell Craft, Craft Workings, Hex Craft, Oath to Life, The Spheres, Several Stations, and the House of Deity, are all but a few aspects of this path.
